What the extension handles

AI to Word accesses a chat response only when you click an Export to Word button or use the extension popup. It handles the selected response as HTML and plain text, together with source metadata such as the AI service name, page URL, capture time, and text length.

How your content is used

The extension passes the response to the AI to Word converter so you can create a Word document. Conversion runs in your browser. Application code does not upload chat content or generated documents to our servers, and we do not use that content for analytics, advertising, model training, or profiling.

If a response contains a remote image that you choose to export, your browser may request that image from its original URL so it can be embedded in the document.

Temporary local storage

The extension temporarily stores a pending export in Chrome's local extension storage while the converter tab opens. It removes the export immediately after a successful handoff. Interrupted exports expire after 15 minutes and are removed the next time the extension runs. No chat content is placed in Chrome Sync.

Account and usage data

Firebase Authentication processes your email address, sign-in provider, account identifier, email-verification state, and authentication security data. We store your account identifier, email address, free-use count, plan, paid-through date, and renewal state in Firebase. Random download operation identifiers are retained for up to 30 days to prevent retries from consuming quota twice. They do not contain document content.

Payments

Paystack processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy practices. We receive billing metadata needed to verify access, including transaction reference, amount, currency, product, status, and Paystack customer or subscription identifiers. We do not receive or store full card details. Webhook replay records expire after 90 days; payment records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Account and billing data is shared only with Firebase, Paystack, and Vercel as needed for authentication, quota enforcement, hosting, and billing. Vercel may process standard request logs such as IP address, request path, timing, and browser headers. Application code never includes chat text, HTML, DOCX data, filenames, or equations in account, usage, or billing requests.

Your control

You decide which response to export. You can remove pending local extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing its site and extension data in Chrome. You can delete your account from Account & billing. Deletion removes your Firebase account, profile, and usage claims and cancels future monthly renewal; limited payment records may remain where required for accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, or law.
